I have always loved and wanted to be in the beauty industry. Ever since I was a little girl, I have always done hair_if my barbies and best friends count! When I was old enough to work I started working for my Aunt in her beauty shop and from there went onto cosmotology school.
I have officially been in the hair business for 13 years and enjoy working with people. I graduated from Tolles Technical Career Center in 1997 and have attended specialized training from the finest artists to further my education. I believe continued training is the key to keep up with the newest hollywood trends and styles.
My specialties are hair color, and I am a master at hair cutting. I strive to create the best look for each client's style and personality. I enjoy making people happy and give them exactly what they ask for. I love it when my clients step out of the salon and feel and look their best after leaving my chair.

Growing up I found that I was interested in working with my hands. I mastered many areas of woodworking at a young age. I always was fascinated with how things were built and crafted. I also knew that whatever I chose to do in life had to be challenging and always changing. I looked at many things and thought that I would try my hands in the craft of Hair Design. It was a choice that would fit my life perfectly. I have been learning the craft for over 20 years. I was very fortunate to learn from many people. From the best designers in the world to the beginners in the field. I believe we all have something to give and always have something to learn, I have traveled extensively observing others and sharing my ideas. I started my first salon at the age of 21. I again was fortunate to have people that were in my life to help me along the way. These people I'm referring to are my co workers. Many mistakes and many accomplishments. Today I am full in my business having the highest level of standards. Learning everyday pushing hard to be better in all ways. And always knowing that I have my co workers and clients to thank for making Dominic and Company a place I used to dream of being a part of.

I have been doing electrolysis for over 27 years, in which 20 of those years have been with Dominic and Co. I am licensed by the Ohio State Medical board, and I love helping people with this permanent solution for unwanted hair.
To tell you a little about what you should expect. I take a series of appointments, where the 1st appointment is complimentary, and the process of electrolysis is explained. Appointments range from 15 minutes to one hour, and start at $15.00 on up per session.

I graduated from Nationwide Beauty Academy in 1977 with a degree in managing cosmetology. Since graduation, I have studied under some of the finest artists in the industry, including Sassoon's in Los Angeles California, Le Coupe Hair design in Montreal Canada, Redkin Laboratories in Miami Florida/Dearborn Michigan and John and Susan Chadwick. I have also studied under Paul Mitchell Systems for the past 20 years training under Kelly Cardenas and Robert Cromeans of Paul Mitchell Systems both from Las Vegas, Nevada. I have attended the International Beauty Show in New York City for many years, as well as the Mid West Beauty Classic in Chicago Illinois.
I was involved in lobbying for independent contractors as well as mandatory continuing education hours. I was a salon owner for 19 years, earning my "focus salon status" with Paul Mitchell Systems in 1998. I enjoy every aspect of this industry including cutting, coloring, perms, and most of all working with people and making them feel good about themselves!
